Logbooked Vehicle Auctions
Logbooked auction centre is a dealer only platform where dealers can access the vehicles available for auction and place bids with the view to having the highest bid and purchasing the vehicle from the seller.
Both dealers and private sellers can place their vehicle(s) in the auction platform for the purpose of selling the vehicle at a trade price.
Vehicles can be added with a zero starting balance or alternatively with a reserve price, at which point the vehicle would be classed as automatically sold to the highest bidder.
Logbooked will provide current and recent MOT history and available service history however it is required that all users selling a vehicle via the auction centre provide any detailed information that is relevant such as the following:
- Engine management light on.
- Dent to driver side door.
- Chips to bonnet paintwork.
- Scuffed alloy wheels.
- Interior rear seat ripped
It is also advised to add supporting images to any faults regardless of severity to enable the bidder to have a full and clear picture of the vehicle during the bidding process.
Advertising a vehicle on the auction centre can save time and money from selling to companies who buy cars at below trade prices to sell to traders via auction.
Dealers who advertise vehicles and withhold information relevant to the sale/bid value of a vehicle will face suspension periods and/or expulsion from the Logbooked auction centre. The same rule also applies to private users who miss-advertise a vehicle within the auction platform.
No bid can be reduced or bartered over on the completion of an auction end and on the collection of a vehicle. Any user found in breach of this policy will immediately be suspended from the auction platform.
The Logbooked dealer’s auction centre is available to promote dealer to dealer trade sales, private individual to dealer trade sales, and support all users both private and trade.
